I installed the NGK MotoDX CR8EHDX-9S on my CB400SB and it made a noticeable difference. The throttle response feels smoother, and cold starts are quicker now. Fuel efficiency also improved a bit. It’s a bit more expensive than regular plugs, but definitely worth it for the performance. Easy to install too. If you're thinking of upgrading your spark plugs, I’d recommend this one.View Detail

About quality and texture - The CR8EHIX-9 spark plug from NGK is a iridium IX plug with a heat rating of 8, made using high quality processes and materials.About the feeling of use - After installing the big bore kit and using the manufacture recommended CR8EH9 standard resister plug without any issues, I decided to give the CR8EHIX-9 iridium IX plug a go to see how it performed and was impressed.Products to buy together - With the spark plug being a regular service item, key products to purchase when carrying out maintenance on my Honda Grom would be crush washers, gaskets and the like as these products are cheap and convenient to have on hand.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the CR8EHIX-9 spark plug is an simple task that took 0.2 of an hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is all that is required to firstly check the gap between the center electrode and the ground electrode and then install the spark plug onto the cylinder head.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products NGK sell to great value when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the CR8EHIX-9 spark plug is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the CR8EHIX-9 spark plug, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. I was going to go for the standard OEM spark plugs for this service but when I saw the price of the iridium ones for the CBF1000, it was a no brainer to get these bad boys. These were easy to find using the tools provided by Webike and all the links to the manufactyrers websites.The cost was very good and purchased a set of 4.I have used iridium plugs before with great success as they seem to fire better than standard. I used EMS this time and everything arrived within a week. All packaged very well and no damage to anything in the order. Webike added additional bubble wrap for some of the parts to keep everything nice and snug. The plugs themselves are perfect. I have had some plugs befpre from overseas suppliers and generally, one of those had been a dud or just been broken during transit. Not this time. All 100% perfect and fired as they should. They do have a better performance than standard plugs but you would have to be a professional to actually notice the difference of the bat. Once fitted, the bike just feels smoother. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the NGK iridium CR8EHIX-9 spark plug, the fine iridium tip ensures a consistently stable spark and the trivalent metal plating provides superior anti-corrosion properties.About the feeling of use: With the ultimate design and technology put into the manufacture of this spark plug you get outstanding acceleration, high fuel efficiency and durability when compared to a standard NGK spark plug.Products to buy together: NGK also offer high performance spark plug caps which would also be desirable to purchase along side the NGK iridium CR8EHIX-9 spark plug to remove chance of the performance of the iridium spark plug being decreased.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 5 minutes. Firstly check the spark plug gap and adjust if required, then simply remove and install the spark plug and refit the spark plug cap securely. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a better performing and more durable long last spark plug as compared to a standard NGK spark plug, that is cheaper to purchase but is not as fuel efficient and will require changing more regularly which will lead to costing you more in the long run.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: The original Honda spark plug heat rating is 6.
