Shabon Dama's ZEPHYR1100
Shabon Dama has been dealing with the Zephyr 1100/750 for 10 to 20 years. The company was also quick to address the weaknesses of both bikes and has done a lot of customization work, including on the demo bike.
As the lineup gradually changes, they are choosing the ones with the best performance and appearance. Many aftermarket parts for Zephyrs can still be found today. Even though numerical values such as specs and dimensions are established, the differences and individuality of parts emerge when they are actually seen and used. Examining it makes it a better custom. This bike can be regarded as the latest in customization.
Handle
Gauges are stock, with a Yoshimura Progress Meter added. Blinkers are ultra-compact Kellermann LEDs. The stem is a Wheelie with a fork offset of 30mm. The handlebars are Shabon Dama's original "Tacky Bar," and the left and right master cylinders are Brembo RCS.
Bodyworks
The seat is a Supreme seat, which has been installed in many bikes in the Shabon Dama lineup. It improves maneuverability while minimizing sinkage, and is also designed to provide good ground reach.
Intake & Exhaust
The 1062cc air-cooled, 2-valve, twin-plug straight-4 engine is a stock Zephyr 1100, and its silver appearance indicates that it is based on an earlier model. The covered hydraulic clutch cylinder is a Wheelie, and the drive chain that runs inside it is made by DID converted to 520 size.
The carburetor is a TMR-MJN Φ38mm dual stack funnel. The exhaust is a Shabon Dama Titanium 4-1.
Chassis
The rearsets kit with coaxialized left and right step bars and brake/shift pedals, and the pivot side covers are both billet parts made by Wheelie.
The Ohlins RWU has the same Φ43mm diameter as stock, and the front brakes are a combination of Brembo axial calipers and Sunstar premium racing brake discs.
The rear brake caliper is a Brembo P2 Φ34 mounted on the lower side with Active support. The torque rods on the square bars are modified to a U shape to avoid tire interference.
The swingarm is made of stock extruded aluminum with a triple square cross section, and the rear shocks are Ohlins for the ZRX1200. Front and rear wheels are Gale Speed Type-E in 3.50–17 and 6.50–17 sizes. A 3mm offset front sprocket and rear wheel spacers are provided and mounted for this purpose.
