Ticker Killer
The Bing throttle valves on the right side start chattering after a time because there is no valve potentiometer on that side. A lot of people think that this noise is caused by the valves or rocker arm end play. If the chattering is still heard after properly adjusting the valve clearances, then it is the throttle valve making the noise.
This is easy to verify by wiggling the accelerator cable at the throttle body attachment point with the throttle valve slightly open - you should then hear the noise. The Ticker Killer will solve this problem. It is an adjuster that will take play out of the shaft by means of an easily adjustable ball head. It is installed on the right in place of the cap. It will not corrode, it works and looks great.
No more chattering. And you won't have to buy a new throttle valve.
