When you purchase CHIC DESIGN's bikini cowl through auctions or private sales, please make sure that the model of your bike is compatible with CHIC DESIGN's bikini cowl.
Adaptation of Road Comet to each model is done by changing the cut line and metal fittings of the cowl body.
There is no significant difference in appearance between the two types of vehicles, but it is very dangerous to install the product on other types of vehicles as it may cause unexpected problems.

Slightly rounded bikini cowl with standard design.
It is compatible with each stock color paint, and you can get the high rectification effect and fearless styling.
The cut lines are in line with the Z900RS, and can be bolted on to the stock lights.
The light is securely fixed at three points: the right and left rubber mounts and the lower rigid mount.

The slightly rounded shape of the bikini cowl can be installed on any type of vehicle without any sense of discomfort and enhances the original styling of the vehicle.
It also reduces wind pressure from the shoulders to the torso to support comfortable high-speed running.
The cowl body is made of multi-layered FRP for durability, with a matte finish on the back surface.
Compatible with Japanese stock color coating with acrylic urethane paint.
The windshield can be selected from clear or smoke and stainless steel screws, polycarbonate washers and lock nuts are used to attach the windshield to the cowl body.
Bolt-on installation is possible due to the model-specific design
Cut line and installation bracket are set for each model, and installation is bolt-on.
No special tools are required for installation.
Secure attachement by 3-point mount
Rubber mounts on both sides and rigid mounts on the lower part of the vehicle prevent uncomfortable vibrations and provide a stable ride even at high speeds.
All the stock colors are painted clear and the back side is also painted with the same color.

The fairing its self is well made and good quality that fits to the bike well and is fairly easy to install. I ordered the mono colour version that was supposed to match the colour of the 2024 z900rs yellow ball, candy tone green, unfortunately it wasn't a very good match so I had to get it resprayed. Delivery by FedEx priority to the UK was very quick.

I got this for my 2024 Z900RS with the silver and red pinstripes! It installs pretty easy, id say the instructions were lacking a little, but its very easy once you get an eye on everything.

The seller has excellent communication skills.Manufacturing times are long, but they are met.(The reliability of Japanese commitments is exemplary.)The packaging is large and padded enough to withstand international logistical constraints.This is a very good product. Its workmanship is excellent, the paintwork impeccable, and it fits perfectly without modification.The end result is magnificent.The bracket provided to replace the headlight bracket bolts is very well designed. The rubber rings inserted into the fairing holes are equipped with a metal spacer that allows them to be tightened until they lock without straining the fiberglass.I recommend using a drop of medium (blue) threadlocker to prevent accidental loosening due to vibration.Areas for improvement, because unfortunately, nothing is ever perfect or completely to your liking:- The yellow color doesn't exactly match the Kawasaki "yellow ball." However, it is perfectly acceptable.(My Z9000 RS SE is new, with only 600 km on the odometer, so no sun discoloration.)- The windshield hardware is rigidly attached, and the shoulder nuts are not nylon-locked. Don't overtighten, and apply a drop of threadlocker. Soft, clear plastic washers are provided to prevent paint damage when tightening, but I would have preferred retractable rubber mounting inserts.- There is only one rigidly attached lower mounting bracket in addition to the semi-flexible side mounts.This is sufficient for riding at reasonable speeds, but if you want to accelerate, the top of the fairing vibrates.Discreet mounting brackets to be used on the switch housings, or better yet, an internal frame like the one on the Z900 RS's café racer fairing, would be ideal.- The smoked windshield scratches too easily: even a clean microfiber cloth leaves tiny scratches visible in the sun.So I protected it with Glastint film.All of this can be resolved without major complications if you're a bit handy and imaginative.In conclusion, despite some minor improvements, I'm delighted with my purchase.About quality and texture. Note: My photos represent a trial installation to ensure everything fits properly before final installation.

Nice addition - more for looks, less for function
I purchased this mainly for looks and wasn't concerned about it helping with wind deflection. Installation was easy with included directions, but a tight squeeze to place an emblem plate underneath the cowl. Paint matches really well to my 2020 tiger model. It offers some wind deflection, but nothing that completely changes how the bike rides. On rides, the fairing does flex/wobble a lot, so I am looking into a method of securing it for a bit more stability.

Excellent colour match , easy to install and comes with all fittings. Does vibrate a little with the air flow when riding,could do with something to brace the fairing to stop the vibration . All said it does make the bike look even more retro
