The previous wheels were iron spokes that rusted, so I replaced them with aluminum nipples and stainless spokes that are resistant to rust. The hubs have been drilled to reduce weight, so it will take a lot of work to clean them after installation.

The stock wheels of the XR series have low lateral rigidity due to the different spoke construction from that of motocrossers.
The AR1 wheel kit uses the hub design for motocrossers as feedback to not only increase lateral rigidity, but also achieve a weight reduction of approximately 700g front and rear compared to the stock hubs.
