Good Value but Basic Fuel Controller for the Super Head 4V+R Grom
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the FI CON2 injection controller, the housing is very compact and is made from a durable plastic that is dust and water resistant once the rubber cap is fitted over the select switch and LED indicator port. About the feeling of use: Very simple to follow the instuctions for setting up and appears to be controlling the fuelling well for the 181cc 4valve head setup. Products to buy together: The SP Takegawa big throttle body kit would also be desirable to purchase along side the FI CON2 injection controller if you are looking to obtain more performance from this engine setup. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one and a half hours, the seat and left body fairing need to be removed for access. The wiring harness needs to be installed and connected to the fuel injector and spliced into the wiring at the ECU, then set your throttle positioning and select the map for your specifications. A little difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a basic fuel controller that works simply with the super head 4V+R on the Grom for a low price as compared to something much more expensive and complicated like the Dynojet Power Vision 3. About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: Being a basic fuel controller you will not be able to attain all the available power that this engine setup can achieve but it will operated safety. For maximum power a more advanced fuel controller is needed.
I bought this with a few other parts, namely the Takegawa S-Stage Big Bore Kit 138cc and Big Throttle Body.About quality and texture: The quality of the Fuel Injection controller is superb. The build quality is very high, and everything was thought out well. This includes the connection harnesses and sockets, basically meaning everything is easy to install.About the feeling of use: After installation and with the use of the app for Fi-con TYPE-e Injection controller, I could upload preloaded maps into the controller and thus change the mapping of the ecu without needing to go to a dyno. The combination of the N-20 cam, big bore high compression piston and big throttle body results in a fast revving engine and perceptible increase in power and performance. Products to buy together: The Fi-con TYPE-e Injection Controller made by Takegawa is a piggy-back type of fuel controller. It can be used as is, but a fuel controller is compulsory if you install big bore kits or even if you remove the airbox and install an open pod air filter.Difficulty of installation: Installation was easy, due to the fact that the product was well thought out and had connection sockets that fit with all required connections. You basically place it under the seat, near the ECU and hook it up to the OEM ECU via the connectors provided. The only concern I had was the instructions/directions that came with it (which were in Japanese). But due to the ease of installation, it was really just plug and play.About shipping and packaging: Shipping was fast. Packaging was, as usual from Webike and Takegawa, superb and secure.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: The only main concern I had was related to the Fi-con Fuel Controller software and app language, which is important (and compulsory) when installing a big bore kit. Fortunately, the Fi-con Fuel Controller has an app specifically for the Kawasaki Z125 Pro and it is in English. very difficult to do the conection, no manual clear in english and i am an electronician. Plus they say it is for model MD38, but in 2016 honda upgrade the size of the throttle body , the header and the ECU (still model MD38), then i am absolutly sure the FIcon 2 can not be the same for the 2 different model, pre and after 2016, on my crf (2019) there is absolutly no difference, only harder to start the engine.View Detail

I have always felt that the performance of the HUNTER was too restrained, and that feeling won out. FI Controller and High Camshaft at Timing waiting for arrival. (Mukawa) ordered on the spur of the moment.
However, even after the product arrived, it was left unattended for several weeks because of the aforementioned reasons.
Just the other day, the owner of an authorized HONDA dealer finally came up with the idea. (Motorcycle shop in an old town) Phone consultation to. I was afraid they would turn me down, since they are an old-fashioned motorcycle shop and seem to be mainly selling now. "Oh, Mukawa's, yes, yes, High Camshaft, and the fuel adjustment computer, yes, yes, yes, I'll do it. I was taken aback by the idea of the project. (Gasket is also a must as it opens the Engine! I asked my husband to order OEM).
I was notified that the work was completed within 5 days of leaving Motorcycle and returned the next morning.
Rewriting the Fuel Map is a smartphone app for Mukawa (¥350) I downloaded it beforehand in order to do it in the The Motorcycle shop owner and I completed the setup while tracing the Instruction Manual. (Fully open the Axel and turn on the key to connect via Bluetooth. It is very easy, just select the one that fits your HUNTER from the 10 or so maps that Mukawa has prepared in advance, Tap the entry, and set the Throttle opening! No fine tuning of values is done. I did not do limiter cut for fear of burnout because I installed High Camshaft at the same time).
It is a long story, but the driving performance will be transformed. The weight of the HUNTER is almost gone, making it light and powerful. It is more than 1.5 times the fun of riding.
If anyone is struggling for the same reasons as I am, I would love to recommenend it.

The problem of not being able to DL settings by model in the i-OS APP has been corrected. (However, this has not been confirmed for the latest version of i-OS 15.5.) If you cannot download the file, you may have to delete the APP and then reinstall it to download a different configuration for your car. … I mean, I fell into this category. After the installation of the APP, it would be wise to check the settings to make sure that mobile communication is not set to be enabled without permission. This APP should not be necessary except for BT, but it is still there.View Detail
If it is a vehicle User with the default Spec. settings, the settings are completely different from those of TYPE-E = see the product overview for details (lol). It would be strange for Large to pack the Settings because there are so many configurable parts, but it works by pimping & default settings. However, please note that there is a large problem. first of all Model settings by vehicle type. is in a state where it cannot be Downloaded (i-OS as of 22.05.15). In other words, I cannot even do the initial setup from my i-Phone. I have submitted a request for improvement, but it is still not possible. Then, why don't you set up the initial settings from a PC? However, the Bluetooth spec. of this machine is a special spec. from the current PC, and it is impossible with Win10 spec. (especially the built-in version). You need to get a BT from Elecom, which is mentioned secretly in ManufacturerHP = about 1200 yen? I understand that the PC version is free of charge ….
You should also be careful with the APP provided by Manufacturer… Always connected by default on your phone… It is dishonest to SoftSpec. = even though you don't need anything but Bluetooth.

About the feeling of use: Super lightweight compared to the Honda exhaust which results in a good weight saving. This muffler design is on a larger proportion for the Grom but it manages to create a big bike sound from the little 125cc motor. Products to buy together: Some form of higher flow air filter would also be desirable to purchase along side this full exhaust system, I will be going with an open air intake from Kitaco. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one hour to complete. A new gasket for the forward mounting flange is recommended. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are receiving a well designed and manufactured product using quality materials that will help increase performance but there are also other options for much less cost, so browse Webike available exhausts if you have a lower exhaust budget. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght is my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost and it is fantastic that it has returned as an option once again so I can put my money toward parts and not high shipping costs. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the pulley holder from Kitaco made from a steel construction with a PVC coating over the band to help improve it's hold.About the feeling of use: I have used this tool to hold the clutch and flywheel on my Honda Grom when removal of these parts were required for maintenance with great success. The adjustable band makes this tool very versatile for varies sized motorcycle parts.Products to buy together: Some more tooling like a center lock nut wrench would also be desirable to purchase along side the pulley holder so when it comes time to remove the clutch assembly and oil spinner on your Honda Grom you have all the special tooling required to complete the job.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes a few minutes, place the pulley holder around the part that needs to be held and adjust the band if required. Tighten down the T handle so that the band holder does not allow the part to spin as you undo the fastener securing the part. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as this is a quality made band holder from Kitaco that has with stood numerous usage without failure as compared to the first band hold that I purchased from another site that failed soon after.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the titanium exhaust from Over Racing. The muffler is quite compact with a removable baffle inside and made from titanium, while the exhaust piping is very large in diameter at the exhaust port end and just continues to expand all the way up to the muffler connection and is also made from titanium. About the feeling of use: The titanium exhaust is an aggressive looking exhaust on the Grom but the exhaust note is very enjoyable to hear at idle and through the entire RPM range due to the baffling within the short muffler. Products to buy together: Some form of higher flow air filter would also be desirable to purchase alongside this titanium exhaust to help achieve maximum performance. Difficulty of installation: The process to install took about one hour, I was removing an aftermarket exhaust which was very simple as it was just the two nuts at the front and one bolt at the back but the exhaust port gasket was very difficult to remove. Cost performance and comparison with other products: High costing but you are getting a full titanium exhaust system with features to help obtain high performance at a high price as compared to the much cheaper stainless steel version available from Over Racing. About the feeling of use: I was looking for a camshaft to make the 125cc engine higher revving which it has and I'm really happy with how it performs on the open road with no real loss of power in the lower RPMs which is ideal for around town. Products to buy together: Some type of fuel controller is needed to be purchase along side the sports camshaft, the SP Takegawa FICON 2 is well suited to this type of performance modification. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about half an hour, was an easy job to complete after reading through the Honda service manual directions. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: High costing, the cheapest high RPM camshaft available here on Webike is the Endurance hi-power camshaft but does not look to have a power curve anywhere near as good.
